Originally from New Jersey, Steve studied music at Michigan State University before spending several years playing in Air Force bands. He continued to play while earning a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Environmental Engineering. Currently, he’s working on a Master's degree in Music Performance at UAF where he regularly performs classical works with <ethos> pianist Paul Krejci. Steve and Paul are working on a presentation for primary and secondary school students on the relationships between math and music. They hope to bring that discussion to remote Alaskan villages throughout the state.
